Any chance that someone who actually knows something about the code would have the time to look and see if this can be fixed? I have dug around in the code and can compile it but I have not really been able to find the part that deals with acquiring targets.

its most likely going to be in the "IsEnemy" function code , have a look for the svencoop part and the Classify() function calls to see if monters are enemies or friendlies

best thing to do is debug it while its running

Any tips on debugging while running? I was able to start the debugger but did was not sure how to step through the code if that is what I would need to do.

set a breakpoint just after the Svencoop IsEnemy code, each time it will go through when it finds a suitable entitiy to check for enemy status, you could move the breakpoint further down incase it 'breaks' too much, see if it ever returns true, Im guessing its always returning false.

Have you guys just abandoned this? Or did this issue fix itself somehow, Come on guys, some of us WANT This bot for Svencoop...?

I am STILL using 3.0 JUST because I want to work with the bots and waypoint with them, and therefore I can't play it online because I am so out of date now just because I want to work with the bot stuff....

Revived old thread, not sure where they got sc4.7 back in 2009 dry.gif ?? But we got it now in 2013 biggrin.gif ..

For those looking, here is the download link (provided by Cheeseh) for the latest build of RCbot1 for Svencoop 4.7... http://rcbot.bots-united.com/downloads/RCB...release_dll.zip

It fixes the "friendly breakables" issue on the map quarter (and other maps?). smile.gif

I'm still testing this out on some maps, RL & some hard drive/windoz maintenance is slowing me down (preparing to install dods/rcbot2). Polar-rescue may have an issue, but i'll report later on that, if confirmed..

Cheeseh, can this release be used for other mods, such as Natural Selection. Doe's it include all previous code changes, such as Lordskitch's fixes? If so, i'll test it out on NS too, when i get some time rolleyes.gif .

this dll is only for svencoop update but will work with the other mods, although its not the latest source, i.e. not from skitchy's NS source
