(Cheeseh - I didn't really want to call this official, as it contains my improved ctf_2fort waypoints and Shadow3's latest .dll. Let me know if it's okay if I call it official)

Okay - I'll take a look at it. The engineers in general seemed to be bugged though.

The engineers all gathered at the gate near the red spawn at stage 2 but couldn't build at that point.

im having some problems. Well one mainly. The bots (when used on ctf_2fort) are uber fast. Even the heavy is faster than a normal scout and (to quote another post who had the same problem) The bot scout moved like "the flash". I have searched around and found no sites/posts that say how this can be fixed.
Because of this upgraded speed, they are able to kill enemies/sentries/whatever in a matter of seconds, which is just a pain really. All i want is just a map like 2fort where every1 is easy enuf to find and attack. With this they find YOU and kill you so quickly that you dont even have time to aim and shoot. Hmm, what else. Oh yeah, Wasn't able to play as a spy when versing bots. its not that i couldnt pick spy, its just that the enemy always shoots and kills me anyway(even when cloaked i found) and killed me even faster on 2fort. **edit: I know they were spy checking and they shudnt be doing it to evry1 but they must be running the numbers over and over again on the decision to spy check me untill they get the answer to try shoot me to check** Apart from the occasional crashes and engie bugs, theres not much else i can think of. I tried full teams of scouts and they didnt seem to want to leave the start area. I kicked all bots and spawned them as random classes and they seemed to work fine after that. Didn't try full scout teams again.

tried scouts again. still unsuccessful. Full teams of demo men and heavys seem to work the best. Havnt tried snipers yet. Still getting my ass handed to me because of speedy bots though.

I have also seen a few of the bots occasionally stand at spawn, although the strangest part is its not right after I spawn them its after they die and respawn... like 2 bots (mostly spy and engineer?) would stand and look at the ceiling together. strange but only happen to me maybe 4 times, mostly on 2fort I dunno why.

Funny to watch two teams of heavies go at it. Or heavy vs. demo. however. i noticed the bots sit on the flag spawner they have ran there and flag isnt there. the stay there unless provoked by attack. Commenting on CTF_2FORT is it possible to request waypoints for strictly arena only? I oft only play 2for to kill other people and ignore capturing flags completely. i could make it myself but im new to this and i suspect i wouldn't even be finished after several weeks compared to the few hours i suspect pros like you guys could do it in. |

Commenting on CTF_2FORT is it possible to request waypoints for strictly arena only? I oft only play 2for to kill other people and ignore capturing flags completely. i could make it myself but im new to this and i suspect i wouldn't even be finished after several weeks compared to the few hours i suspect pros like you guys could do it in. You mean the custom map, arena_2fort, or just 2fort? if it's just 2fort,delete the flag waypoints on both teams. then they'll just wander along the waypoints. |
