I played on a few cp_ maps last night, and RED gets smoked by BLU, every time. They move and hit too quickly, giving RED hardly any time to set up defenses.
I got them set as 8x8 to make it even. But I wish there was a way to calm down their aggressiveness. They seem to always gang up on RED. Given the chance, BLU can take over a cp_ map in less than three minutes. And it's not like I make them all Scouts. I don't think I ever seen a normal human server quite like this. |

If you are talking about attack and defend maps, I would understand as the red team aren't entirely well coded yet to defend well. The current code allows sufficient attack team (Blue) to function. If you are talking about normal CP maps, such as cp_granary or well etc, I would be surprised however this would just mean that the waypoints need tweaking. Actually you could probably tweak the waypoints in such a way that the red bots never leave the visible command point area by adding new area only points and editing the script file to allow them, and have them no access to further areas. reducing the spawn time will also help im sorry I cant be of much help instantly as it obviously requires an in-depth change to the AI which will require hours of work which unfortunately at the moment I am unprepared to take as I have other more important things to solve. Anyone else however can make any changes they wish to the SVN Code to allow better defending |
