Ok, because i'm half cut i just typed a three page explanation before realising that if you want waypoints you should firstly ask sandman which waypoints you want and for what map providing of course an addy where to find the map and the name of the map itself. When and if sandman waypoints the map for you (and posts it), it will be called an rcw file which you will then copy into your rcbot\waypoints\(ns or svencoop) directory. Once you have done that create a lan game and then add bots through your command console (~) after reading the rcbot readme.txt and if you are uber l33t you can then bind your bot menu so that you can hot key them in. biggrin.gif
After you have done all this and played with the bots for a while i would encourage you to join an online game and proceed to hurl abuse at anyone who dares to call you a newb as we were all newbs at one stage or another. tongue.gif
Sorry Ch33s3h n Sandman but i had to put my 2 cents in.

Ok..start the game again and go marines (don't add any aliens yet) then bring down your command console (~) and type 'rcbot waypoint on' enter and type 'rcbot pathwaypoint on' enter again type all this without the inverted comma's (yeah we all know this). If you cant see any waypoints now then you haven't put your rcw file in the right directory.

Well i'm at a bit of a loss because if you can see the waypoints and you can add bots without any problems there shouldn't be a problem.

I see what his problem is. He has a waypoint for ns_caged (ns 1.x version). ns_caged was drasticly changed for NS 2.0, therefor, you need the newer version. Try this waypoint instead.

[edit] sorry, that 1st waypoint file had a few bugs. This one should be much better. [/edit]
