Hey all, im a bit of a newb when it comes to this kind of stuff so here it goes.
I set up a dedicated TF2 server in my dorm for everyone to play, and i'm using rcbot2 to keep it filled. I got everything to work after much research and effort but I can't fix one thing: The bots move very fast. Is there a way to fix this? I saw theres a command called rcbot speed but when I try and do it with rcbotd it doesnt work and when I use rcbot it doesnt do anything but spit back out the list of commands. Anyone got any advice? -Thenoname |

Heyyo,
It was detailed in the main rcbot2 thread. create a .vdf text file (ie, create a .txt and rename it to .vdf) and then put it in your tf/addons folder (you will probably have to make the folder) and put this inside the file.. CODE "Plugin" { "file" "..\bin\HPB_Bot2.dll" } It's because of the way bots load into the game.. using the plugin_load from either a .cfg file or via console tends to cause the speed issue.. NOTE, this does not fix their gravity issue.. for that you'd need the sourcemod. |
