tf2 is about to be updated again... this time with a new class... i am sure the bots will be broken again... sad.gif...

just when i was getting the kinks worked back out of my setup from the last update... ARGH!!!

Sometimes being a tf2 server admin lacks reward...

my personal opinion is... VALVe just acknowledged the work of the guy who made the "guard dog" update thing.
or it's a engie unlock,who knows.

god I just wish they would leave TF2 alone ! It's getting too complicated. Sure it's great , new features and stuff but what happened to the classic TF2, I prefered that. Everything's way imbalanced now.

Anyway, hope it doesn't affect the bots, keep me informed

it will definitely effect the bots... there is a new class... and it is a dog... it is hard to say if that will break the existing bots, but they will need to be coded to play the newest class...

I still havent quite ironed out all the crashes and server bugs from the last update.. all 3 of my tf2 servers are fairly heavily modded... every time valve releases a major update if wreaks havoc on my setups... sad.gif

well... at least it never gets boring... although i miss the old days when a server owner actually got to play sometimes, rather than spending every spare moment trying to fix the latest crash-bug caused by an overzealous game maker...

You guys realize that it was originally a joke, right? It's not a real update (as far as we know), so don't get too worked up.

yeah well I knew it was a bit dodgy when I looked at the address of the website, but I checked teamfortress2.com and it mentioned something about "guard dogs" on it, and thought maybe someone stuck leaked info onto that website, anyway I hope Valve doesn't get any ideas from it and hope it just stays a hoax, hah
