need help to install rcbot2 dedicated server Options

Hey guys, i rented one tf2 server, and i want try to install those greats bots, but dam i tryed many times but wont work !
well i put rcbot2 folder in tf folder and dll fiile in tf/bin folder

so i put in console whit rcon rcbot addbot <class> <team> <name> bur no works ! well ill post a screen of my folder server;



if some one can help very thanks bros =) im very new in this game lol ! i rented and playng less than 1 month

Heyyo,

It's in the wrong directory. You need to place it in the root directory (ie, same place as that hl2 & orangebox folder).

Then? the "bin" where you put the "hpb_bot2.dll" should be in your "organebox" folder.. so example:

*serverip*\orangebox\bin\hpb_bot2.dll


Then? the best way to load the bot is not via console or .cfg file.. but via .vdf file.. it's simple. Just make a text file with any name (eg. rcbot2.txt), and change the extension from .txt to .vdf (eg. rcbot2.vdf).. then put this in the file:

}

This will ensure the bots don't run at double the normal speed.. but they will still suffer of 2x gravity just like listenservers. Once you're done? sourcemod is a good way to go cause there's a good bot management plugin for it and a new fantastic one for customizing bots hats.


oh yeah... rename the "teamfortress 2" waypoints folder to "orangebox" on your dedicated server otherwise it won't load any waypoints... another good thing is check the waypoints section for updated waypoints for your favorite maps (especially since the release v0.5 which added scripting).
