i have had to take this bot off the dedi i was running it on. the server is locking up several times a day with them installed. this started after the last little flurry of updates...
anyone else having this issue? and if so has anyone nailed down the cause or a solution?

its a pain caus ethe server dont crash it just locks up... since it dont ever actually crash the watchdog script dont restart it... any thoughts?

Heyyo,

Yeah sometimes updates break RCbot2, so cheeseh might need to do an update to the bot to be fully compatible.

i am doing some testing now, i may have been a bit hasty.... there are still lockups but they are a lot less often... i believe the core of the problem is a plugin i run that adds an observerpoint to each map to avoid the crashes that happen when only one client is on a map without them... after some extensive testing i will post back my findings for the greater good... smile.gif

edit: bot is not the culprit, was just making the culprit do it more often... culprit ended up being the obserpoint plugin mentioned above... which, as it turns out, is made obsolete by the bot anyhow... biggrin.gif the bots become the needed vantage point and the server cannot crash lockup... WIN!!
