Could we get the dedi server instructions updated ? I have not tried to run a DODS server after Steam borked things with the whole steamcmd thing. I am confused as to where to put the rcbot2 files.I tried to put the RCbot2 files in C:/users/Donnie folder. did not work. I get a rcbot not found message if I type "rcbot config max_bots 20" in console. I have the HPB_Bot2.dll in the C:/steamcmd_win32/dods/bin folder. I have the rcbot2.vdf in C:/steamcmd_win32/dods/dod/addons folder. I also changed the bot_mods to "mod = DOD
steamdir = dod gamedir = dod bot = DOD" Any help here ? |

Hi Mytime,
I'm not sure if this will help, but try changing from dod to dods for steamdir. I think the rest looks correct? I don't have a dedi setup for source/steam games so can't be sure? But it seems the problem is usually in the bot_mods.ini. Thanks for the Help Max. Adding the "s" onto dod fixed some of the problem. I also forgot to add my steam ID to the list to add bots while on the server. Again many thanks for the help !

If some peeps would stop by my server and play a few rounds and give me some feed back I sure would like it. The IP is 74.91.115.154:27015 . I need to know if the bots are to turned up or if you see something you would do different. Thanks ! P.S. I still never seen a donate link here. I sure would like to send someone some money for all the hard work with both the bots and the waypoints. Time is money and you all have spent some time just putting this out for free !
