There was an older version of rcbot that had a commander option but it tended to be a pain in the ass because of the bots spending all the res you'd saved up for other things, they also built things in areas that were impossible to reach.

1. The RCBot marine commander used no res when they built - this was the beauty of using them.

2. True day - Wasn't uncommon at all for them to drop an armory or TF in the readyroom on bast.

Either way it worked good considering Cheeseh had to wing it.

Awwww, man ... That stinks, i liked when they had the option to Command.. Dam..
I guess this Flayra person is head coder for NS.. heh, i never read mods unless i need help.. hehe ..

Only read a few parts. I guess i'll take some time to read a bit, cuz i wanna find out
what that ladder thing is in the config, bots havin some troubles on some maps with ladders. i set it to config update_ladder_time 0.1 but i dunno what it does.. ok i go read..

Oh bots have tried welding me & friend but we needed no armor.
They work Great on dedicated server...

Member Group: Members Posts: 32 Joined: 26-December 03 Member No.: 151	somthing i would like to see would be that you could enter a bot command for the bot commander example: rcbot comm_fort and that would set the comm bot to focus on building a fortress will small outposts or rcbot comm_res to focus on res towers or a combo rcbot comm_res_fort to focus on both res towers and fortification..

Sorry I am one of these guys that prefer the bots to do the work, thats why I don't have so many configuration options to do with the bots behaviour.

Something like you set the bot's tendency to rush hives with PGs, tendency to concentrate on teching up, tendency to deal out shotguns early on, etc. So what is the situation exactly? Has Flayra simply refused to give you the code you need, or just too busy to help/no reply at all?
