Cheeseh, I got this error messsge today while trying to post and it only happened once. The message I tried to post did infact go through but instead of bringing me back to the forum, this is what I saw.

Host: mail.bots-united.com
Return Code: 535
Return Msg: 535 5.7.0 authentication failed
Invision Power Board Error: Password not accepted from the server
Check your SMTP settings from the admin control panel

the forum at lycos shouldnt be used any more anyway, more like a test forum tongue.gif
