So far, so good cheeseh. Rcbot is getting pretty stable now and these bots are using ladders just a little better but they are still getting stuck quite often. Now if Clam could fix the stability problem in his WB bots, we can get a game going. dry.gif

I haven't noticed any flux in CPU Usage, it's already been staying at the same level. The MOD that you play has a significant effect on CPU.

Bots are moving around smoothly on my dedicated server.
I can only find a few minor bugs still in the bots (well im sure there just issues to work out still such as the bots not being to hot as alien skulks ....they tend to parasite instead of bite....Also they dont seem to wall stick well but that is a minor issue)
All in all outstanding job on the bot......It seems to be moving along quiet well

I got a crash! I GOT A CRASH!!

So, everythings going smoothly right, no problems what so ever. Then, I go to check my server, and its been on this one map for a while, so I go in there to unstick it.. (i.e. make the marines win.) I hop inside, and do a timeleft command, I have the rounds last for 20 minutes, so the maps will change pretty much as soon as one side wins (most maps seem to last 40ish minutes), unless someone bum rushes at the begining the other side which just isn't cool.

Anyhow Adminmod reports back, "Time Left: -713 minutes" So, it's been running for around 730 minutes, thats just over 12 hours. Twelve freaking hours on one map.

I checked the usage stats on the task manager, HLDS.exe is using over 300 meg of ram! blink.gif

So I think it's moderately funny, aside from they're gonna jack up my server and make another HD fail on me.. deh mad.gif .. so I decide to spend 5 minutes to go the hive, all the while being surrounded by rather angry Onoses... Onii.. whatever, and then go take out their hive.

Apparantly, this one human had been building on the humans side for like 3 hours, cause theres crap everywhere, and the aliens are so packed in with crap it took me like a good 20 or 30 minutes to blow everything up enough that I could spot the hive and launch grenades at it. So, after everything, the map was on for like 11 hours, I killed the hive, it started to change the map, freaked out, and crashed with a hpbbot.dll failure lol biggrin.gif

Now, I don't really blame rcbot, and i wouldn't classify it a bug, because it's too damn hard to reproduce! laugh.gif

I myself Have never had a crash outa even the beta versions of the bot.
Im runing metamod 1.17.1.0
And the Hal is enabled (the chat anyway)
Only thing that ever causes me any troubles is the Hl-Guard which snatches haxors

I was not aware HLGuard worked with NS let alone, NS 3.0 beta series. When did that get released?

Its the latest version (but its several months old think back in may or march I forget which release month it was)
But I just disable all of the checks but the actual aimbot hack finder.
Which is the only thing I really wish to find.

All I know is that it works pretty good for me sandman (it definatly snatches aimbots pretty quick)
Just dont enable wall hack checking or it will crash the server strait outa the hole :-)

In response to my previous crash of 12 hours or whatever, I just ended a map that went on for 920 minutes. That's 15 hours, 20 minutes. blink.gif

If I had a crash caused by rcbot, where should I look for the rcbot_crashlog.txt?
