"crashlog" wasn't found anywhere under the HL server structure... stupid server, all crashin on me.

there s nothing much common with each of those logs that would cause a crash.. I'm still guessing megaHAL = crash-prone..

It's disabled and the brains are hidden from RCBot, so if it doesn't crash in a few hours, I'll assume you're... "spot on, tickety boo" about MegaHAL laugh.gif

Alright, I checked megahal through for errors, I found one and fixed it that could cause problems. It also crashed a while afterwards, I caught it and fixed the problem.

I updated my first post with a NEW dll file. If it still crashes with the later dll, try removing all bots .brn files again, might have got corrupt in old version from the errors maybe, I dunno. But try WITH the .brn files first.

crashes were megaHAL related, so depends if bot chatting was on and people or bots were saying stuff

forgot to mention some svencoop additions in the latest beta;

bots use scientists/barneys if scientist point/barney point waypoints are in the map.

The latest dll blew up on me was unable to get any real info as the system locked up more or less. no crash log anywhere either. maybe my bad who knows smile.gif

It did put up the box that said error in hpb dll

I got 3 crashes since the new DLL, about an hour apart from one another, and looking at my server stats...
(heres a handy feature for ya Sandy! Mr I hate stats! biggrin.gif)

For the 6th and 7th combined, I had MAYBE 50 players total have successful connection attempts, on the 5th I had over 120, my average is in the 115-a-day area, I dunno if that's a lot or a little, but the trend is the past two days, either my server went unpopular, or somethins wrong.

I'm gonna go play on it for a while and see if theres anything noticably wrong.

You don't need a stats program to find out how many visiters your server gets per hour, day or week because HLDS keeps track of this for you by default. Grant it, your server needs to keep running without crashing for more then a day to get a fairly acurate account of how many connection attempts your server gets in a day but on adverage, my server recieves around 500 to 600 hits per 24 hour period.

Not to bad for an "acient" NS version 2.01, 12 player server, huh?

What're you lookin' at to find out those numbers? If you're lookin at the PlayerID thing you can use to kick people, that gets changed each map, when my servers working normally the PlayerIDs can go up to like 800-1000ish area or higher in 24 hours. Other than that, you must have a really popular ancient server! biggrin.gif

It may be because the beta's are still considered experimental and not trusted by players, or they dont wanna move to steam or something, cause the average NS beta 3 players on steam is in the 1000-1800s area...

Meanwhile the freakin' Counterstrike count like never goes below 30k players online

huh.gif That last dll does crash a lot I have not been able to complet a round since I tried it the bots do climb ladders better though smile.gif Back to an older more stable version for now laugh.gif

A plugin made for HLSW ( Half-Life Server Watch ) called Logmod actually does keep a fairly acurate record of how many players connect to said server and is what I have based my records from.
