Hi,

I am getting the following error message when metamod tries to load the rcbot plugin. Any help would be appreciated.

Make sure you've installed the bot to the Half-Life dir (so it makes a dir called Half-Life/rcbot) If you've already done that .. then, Hmm... It looks like I might to to build it again... I'll need to try it with metamod myself soon and try to fix it !

Hmm. Alright I tested myself and it does the same thing, I don't know why sad.gif I'll need to keep trying until I get it right.

Thanks for the quick reply! I thought everyone used metamod these days? Glad to hear I'm not the only one seeing this problem. I was banging my head against the desk last night after checking and rechecking everything. Looking forward to the fix for this one! biggrin.gif

By the way, if I choose not to use metamod, is it still possible to install more than one plugin on my server. For example, could I have adminmod and rcbot without metamod?

Yes read the Adminmod / Metamod manual it will tell you how to run bots with it.

So I found the instructions for installing bots with adminmod. Basaically you just add the following command to the end of the script that calls hlds_run:

+localinfo mm_gamedll PATHTOYOURBOTDLL_i386.so

In my case I am assuming this should be:

+localinfo mm_gamedll ..rcbot/dlls/rcbot_i486.so

Unfortunately that doesn't seem to work, but I don't get any error messages.

Oh well, I will just wait for the metamod linux version to be fixed because I have some other metamod plugins that I want to run as well.

ahh yes... my mistake. well i am able to get the non-metamod linux version working now but not with adminmod. i'll have to keep trying with that cause i gotta have adminmod.

Alright, an update, I got the linux metamod version working! yay! I will release it with everything again soon with some crash bugs fixed that EraserPT is having and the kill/kick bots working.
