in the natural selection (3.0) liblist.gam there is no gamedll, only a cldll. ive been editing for hl for over a year now and in my experience gamedll is the singleplayer dll whereas cldll is for multiplayer use. since ns has no gamedll field, where do i target the rcbot dll? ive tried both of them and nothing seems to work.

Here are a few hints... (/ guidelines) tongue.gif

gamedll is the server side DLL file.

rcbot is a server side bot.

There must be a gamedll line in NS to run a server

There can only be one gamedll line.

Add it if it's not there...

I don't know where you got your information but you have been slightly miss informed.

cldll stands for client dll
gamedll stands for game core dll

The client.dll is used when you join another server ( multiplayer only )
The gamedll is used when you host the game either by listenserver or dedicated ( single and multiplayer )
