Im not sure why im getting this problem. I have the latest version of NS/RCBot/Metamod and in all intensive purposes they seem to be working fine with exception to this crash. Only occurs on regular maps and not at all on combat maps. However, its for the regular games i want this mod working most.
As far as i can tell its something to do with spawning. It would seem the game runs fine up to a point, usualy just after a small fight and some bots died it will crash. I havnt yet seen a bot respawn. The game freezes, goes dull and then waits for a while before crashing.
On adding bots to the map some of the bots will give me an error on creation:

Im not sure if this has anything to do with the crash, but sounds to me like the reputations dont work for these particular bots. Does the reputation get updated on respawn or something which might be causing the crash? Like i said it works fine on combat games, so im at a loss as to what is going on here. Any help would be appreciated.

Newbie Group: Members Posts: 5 Joined: 4-October 04 Member No.: 423	Cheers for the help mate. After deleting those files i tried anouther game on ns_tanish with 24 bots, i went comm. Game was going fine and my rines were kicking ass and all that (even respawning) but just as i was getting settled i crashed again. It was in anouther fight and the game just died exacaly the same as it used to. Any other suggestions?

I allready had that metamod version installed but reinstalled it anyway. I also made some changes to the admin mod cfg.

Im not sure wether it was the reinstalled metamod or the changes i made to admin mod but something kick started the game into working just dandy.

Any other metamod plugins other then rcbot? Also, please list ALL adminmod plugins you have enabled, including the default ones.

That's incorrect. ns2amx is for both amx and amxx mods.

Never the less, JaK's version of the ns2amx module is out dated. Check modns.org for an update.

Also, the antiflood plugin from both AMX and ADMIN mods have been known to wreak havic on bots of any kind. Try disabling that plugin.

Thats the crap I'm running under my adminmod, but I'm running 2.50.59.0

And aside from uncomm not working, I've never had any problems with adminmod.. aside from getting plugins that work for me..

Newbie Group: Members Posts: 5 Joined: 4-October 04 Member No.: 423	Well i tried to upgrade my NS2AMX module after sandman mentioned it was out of date and installed latest amxx at the same time. However, the game will not run properly once i installed it. When creating a game the programme crashes to desktop. To fix this all i had to do was move AMX to a different location so that it wouldnt load. I also installed whichbot at the same time which so far has had no problems. But is it a conflict between whichbot and amx that causing it to crash? Im going to have anouther go at fixing it tonight, hopfully i can get it to work. Roughly what did you trim out of AMX Skitch? Im assuming the latest RC and WB dont work with lerk spike. Plus is there anyway i can get either mod to work with dice roll?

I disabled all the plugins except for these three

And I went through amx.cfg and disabled everything I could, all the stupid take-for-ever-to-scroll-by messages, and the count down thing that counts down to nothing, all that crap.

Also, keep in mind that the newer amx and amxx mods require you to declare all the modules in both amx and metamod and the xtrafun module is no longer supported.
