howdyho all , would anyone know how to change the name for your lan server i keep changing it and writing in a new name but it keeps coming up as the default one please can someone help??? mad.gif

listen server or dedicated server?

for dedicated server edit your server.cfg (it is in your NS directory)

change the line:

CODE
hostname "Natural Selection v3.0"


to

CODE
hostname "Your Server Name Here"



for listen server edit your listenserver.cfg (it is in your NS directory)

change the line:

CODE
hostname "Natural Selection v3.0"


to

CODE
hostname "Your Server Name Here"

Link, you could have just said that it's the same method in both listenserver and dedicated server. Juse edit the "hostname" line in the correct config.
