Hi there. I have a problem: I'm trying to install RCBot on HLDS running linux.
I've read meny documentations about installing and I found that there is no doc. on how to install on to HLDS. Docs. saying to upload in to HL directory but on my FTP server I havn't HL folder, there is ONLY MOD folder (CS) so I extracted all files from archive on to the desktop and then uploaded on to /cstrike/addons/rcbot13/, then in plugins.ini of metamod I added a line "linux addons/rcbot13/rcbot/dlls/rcbot_mm_i486.so and this what I'm getting:

first of all its installed in the wrong fodler, should be "rcbot/dlls/rcbot_mm_1486.so"

and the rcbot folder should be in the counter-strik main folder NOT the cstrike folder (basically the saem folder where cstrike folder is, not in it) and write in the metamod plugins.ini file,

linux "../rcbot/dlls/rcbot_mm_i486.so"

I don't think they're coded for CS... They have no bot_weapons.ini configuration for it and such, I think you'd need to use POD-bot or whatever CS uses...

Of course I could just be using a really old bot_weapons.ini and they work great in CS.. I dont know! tongue.gif

Well, just so that you will know for next time. All you have to do is read the banner on the rcbot main page. It does say what mods rcbot supports.
