actually make sure you installed rcbot to the correct folder or else rcbot won't be able to find the botusers.ini file

Well I have rcbots file installed in addons, listed in metamod users .ini. Also is is installed this way ftp://##.##.###.##/ hlns/##>##>###>##:27015 .The last set of numbers is the file page where ns and rcbots is listed. It is a dedicated clan sever thats the way the pay severs seem to do it unsure.gif

P.S. also when i try to set_pass It must see users .ini because it says password set

Thanks P-M

That's incorrect. The rcbot folder needs to be in the half-life root directory. It does not work properly anywhere else.

Also, rcbot does not yet support NS 3.0 under linux. Sorry, win32 only for the time being.

Yes I know on my hlds sever thats right but on a pay sever the route directory is the ftp address that I stated above right next to ns in there. If you ever set up rcbots on apay sever tell me how you did it exactly.

Yes, I have setup "pay" servers and they only give you ftp access to the "mod of chioce" root directory. In this case, that's the NS folder. For rcbot, you need to contact the host and ask them to install rcbot for you. Or try begging for access to the half-life root directory but most hosts won't give you that access anymore.
