Install Issue, I got this semi-auto install thing... Options

A auto install thing I got from you people totally fucked up my NS game, couldn't join server or create or even start up the mod for that matter. Excuse my language but you shouldn't have people agree to contracts saying you won't be liable if the program's meant to change to many files. I tryed removing it & all that the manual showed I would've changed in a *manual* setup. Still everything was fucked up. Instead of putting 2 /'s before the non-linux gamedll it removed & killed it. Please refrain from distributing programs that can be THAT harmful to a game, who knows what they do to our computers. I just want to know 'WHY' it ruined my NS game. I am forced to reinstall & reobtain all my my admin mods that gave me any status in my own server since HL's built in banip sucks donkey nuts. Main point of this though, why did it screw everything up? Why is it being distributed? How can it be fixed/removed without deleting game itself?

Nevermind about this, I am just giving up on RCBot. Cannot trust that which has no good explanation of use. Just people saying how they did it. I hate metamod & adminmod since both are some what confusing to me, and that's why I use AMX-Mod X. I don't know if this is compatible with it or not. I have had a metamod folder in NS for a very long time, or 'HAD' before auto installer F.U.B.A.R.'ed my mod. I am very happy I had a back-up of my addons atleast, from BEFORE auto installing for NS. So I will just ignore this until you have a SEMI-sensible explanation for installation. Until it's 'properly' known on how to install this w/o absolute mod loss or insanity before perfection of it please refrain from the contact of me & do not distribute my e-mail to ad-ware services. Besides, it's illegal to give out e-mails to ad-ware services, I could have site killed if it does. Not saying I will but I will have defense if I am hit by more than I am already getting hit by in the ad-industry.

When did rcbot release an "auto installer" that works with the latest rcbot and steam NS?

I did it ages ago but I only wrote it as a test to see if it worked, I found that it worked for me so I thought it might be better for others to use it too, but it's still a bit dodgy (it can be found on the filebase.bots-united.com site)

Either way, i'm with skitchy. How can it be so damn hard to install rcbot manually?

I meen, just for the stand alone install, all you have to do is copy the entire rcbot folder to your half-life directory and then edit 1 line in your 3rd party mod of choice liblist.gam file with notepad.exe and that's it. How freaking hard can that be?

Obviously, there must be something wrong with these kids today where they are either unable or not willing to read or learn jack $hit. Windows users have it just to easy. Sure, I may not the smartest guy on the block but at least my IQ is larger then my shoe size. All programs like this come with installation instructions of some sort, usually in the form of a simple text file named "readme.txt". *hint hint*

Alright, I guess I will try this again, & according to my start;run command on my windows desktop, it's not win32 "../rcbot, the forward slash is a backslash, I think that might have been totally screwing me up this all this time since my computer has 'fatal' errors over the slashes (forward and backward) and I was doing copy/paste. I think I should say thank-you, just not sure because of the small error I saw in guide.
