hey guys, when i try to add a bot i get this error >unknown command: rcbot< and the command i do use is "rcobt addbot" and i also cant get the bot menu to run for the same reason, >unknown command: rcbot< after i binded my T key using "rcbot bot_menu" so please help me!

P.S., im using a non-metamod version...at least i think so :-/

obviosuly the bot has not been installed properly. make sure you do not have two game_dll lines in liblist.gam file, make sure the only one gamedll line points to the bot DLL file (if using standalone.) and also make sure you are using the correct dll rcbot.dll

if you are using metamod make sure the path in the metamod plugins.ini is correct and that you are using the correct dll file i.e. rcbot_mm.dll for metamod

ok now i got another question, do i keep both of these gamedlls or do i delete one of them? there gamedll "dlls\ns.dll" and gamedll "../rcbot/dlls/rcbot.dll"

You can delete the line or just put two farward slashes in front of the ns.dll line, like this..

//gamedll "dlls\ns.dll"


rcbot standalone will load the ns.dll for you automaticly, so would metamod if you went that route.

thx guys, i figured it out...now if i can just find good waypoints, id be set...and btw, i found some cheat codes to use in my listen server, but teh only code that i can get to work is invul, the others seem to do nothing...some advice on this would be nice :-D

Sure thing. Check out waypoint-world.com. There you can find upto date waypoints for rcbot, whichbot, foxbot and omnibot.
