Try putting a rcbot_folder.ini file in your ns root directory that contains:

ns\addons\rcbot

I don't recall the last time Cheeseh compiled successfully on Linux, is there a date on that so file?

and try doing ns/addons/rcbot rather than the backslashes in the rcbot_folder.ini file

That's what I was getting at skitchy. The site does not have a current ( 1.40+ ) linux compatable version, only windows. Which is WHY I asked if ooglitch had compiled the source himself.

There is currently no NS 3.0f compatable linux release for rcbot available yet.

*edit* confermed, I just noticed he is trying to run rcbot 1.3 linux on ns 3.0. rolleyes.gif Even if he could get it to load, it's still not going to work.

It says 1.3 up in the version number on the metamod tag, but if someone else compiled a version they fixed for 3.0, and didnt update the line, it'd still say 1.3... the thing that makes me wonder is that rcbot_folder.ini thing wasnt added till after March 05, and that ones tagged 2003... so adding that file shouldn't cause any problems as it wouldn't be read cause the code doesn't know it exists...

well i may never be able to compile a linux version anytime soon. someone else will have to download the source and compile it on a linux machine and post it on the forum for download.

Humm sometimes I wish I had a Linux computer, and knew what I was doing. Thank you for your help though. I only wish I had asked for it sooner. If anyone dose compile it for Linux and needs a tester let me know.
