Ok..I understand why bot aliens dont get cloaking....they cant sneak while cloaking...right? But why dont the marines buy the scan? They are open meal to human alien players with cloaking. Is there a way to enable the scan?

And a question in NS about cloaking. Ok we have an gorge with SC in hive area which is in marine control. It keeps on spitting my RT and the lovely female voice is driving me nuts sayin "youre base is under attack". Ok...I send a group of bots to the rescue! Now the gorge is like 2m from them...cloaking...and they cant see it. It is spitting them and they are like "wtf mate" with nose stuck into their nose. Only after i use scan on that place they see the gorge and they save the world overkilling that innocent gorge. Cant they see the spit while gorge is cloaking? Can this be somehow fixed? biggrin.gif

simple.. there is no code yet. it requires some more AI stuff to determine that, I dont want them just to say "if im getting shot at something maybe i should shoot it" its a bit difficult when finding where they get shot from because of the damage origin is where the spit hits them so they need to traceline from that direction to find an enemy.

I haven't loked at this stuff for a while, I will at some point, probably not until the end of the month when I have less work to do.

hehe, for me now its too simple to do that, because you could shoot where you get shot from but most of the time you wont shoot anything useful (in the case of hurting yourself or getting hit by indestructable things.. bit difficult to find out) or also completly miss.
