Now comes the question which could have been also in the topic... How to get the bots use the extra abilities in extralevels?

This answer is simple. Bots can't use extralevels and never will. It's a 3rd party plugin that will not be supported.

if you mean the extra levels +10 in NS combat then rcbot will keep upgrading regardless of level. The only problem is with aliens at the moment they only select one def/off/sens item still

Hiya again. I was just testing my luck with nsmod forum and that Extralevels tread and this I got for an answer from White Panther:
"you need to ask Cheeseh i will add support if possible" So keep it in mind that Extralevels coder is backing up this idea.. ![]() It would truely be great if bots could use the extralevels ![]() |

basicaly it gives i think 10 more levels so you get a max of 20 points to spend in combat mode

You said that yes, but Extralevels give also something more. This is from the amxx plugins thread: ExtraLevels3 offers the following upgrades: Marines: Cybernetics = improves movement speed (higher level = more speed ) requirements: lvl5 / 1 point (most server use here 2 points) Reinforced Armor = higher armor (higher level = more armor) requirements: lvl1 / lvl3 armor / 1 point Nano Armor = your armor welds itself (higher level = better weld) requirements: lvl1 / reinforced armor / 1 point Advanced Ammopack = increases clip size and reserve size ( higher level = more ammo each) requirements: lvl1 / lvl1 armor / weapon lvl1 / resupply / 1 point Static Field = reduces aliens HP and AP (higher level = reduces more HP + AP ) requirements: lvl1 / motion tracking / scan area / weapon lvl2 / 2 points Uranium Ammo = increases damage for all weapons except Knife + Welder requirements: lvl 10 / weapon lvl3 / 1 point Aliens: Thickened Skin = higher HP (higher level = more HP ) requirements: lvl1 / carapace + regen / 1 point Ethereal Shift = similar to cloak but scaner wont uncloak you and 100% invisible / time based (higher level = longer shifting time ) requirements: lvl5 / cloaking / 1 point Blood Lust = energy regenerates faster (higher level = higher regen of energy ) requirements: lvl1 / adrenaline / 1 point Hunger = for killing u get HP + speed bonus + Primal scream / time based (higher level = more HP + speed + lasts longer requirements: lvl1 / blood lust / 1 point Sense of Ancients = class depending upgrade Skulk = parasite more damage and chance to parasite nearby players Gorge = stronger healspray Lerk = gas damages HA (only the armor) Fade = blink energy is reduced Onos = devour multiple players Gestate = more armor requirements: lvl 10 / 1 upgrade of each upgrade chamber / 1 point This whole thing is in thread: http://www.nsmod.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=2512&st=0 Etheral shift is not needed because it is for the cloaking. The costs are configurable so it should be somehow checked how much level is needed. Extralevels3 is very vastly used plugin and it is constantly updated. This would be a great deal for RCBot to have available for bots to use ![]() The extralevels buy menu comes up by saying /xmenu or xmenu and the Extralevel abilities are choosable from the menu with numbers. I don't think cheeseh will add support for the added upgrades but, the bots can and do use the extra points to keep upgrading. More so on marine side but they won't get hand grendades or scan so cloaking would always be an effective upgrade for aliens.

sandman is right.
but if the commands to upgrade are the same as original upgrades then its possible they might use it. And I don't think I would be coding the extra stuff in, not anytime soon anyway (you could think of the amount of plugins to make the bot suport, and with that the number of mods) or unless I code in REAL AI ![]() |
