Here is a new waypoints pack for SvenCoop's Sectore Series by CryoKeen. This is a very fun map series. CryoKeen did a great job on these maps, along with all his little minion helpers biggrin.gif. I've been working on these a while now, off & on. Thought I'd better get them posted before sc5.0, hope you like'm.

Includes New & modified rcw's for Svencoop v4.8/4.7. Waypoints 2 & 3 are new. I finished & modified the waypoint for sectore_1, which was from w00tguy123's pack, thanks man...

See the readme for details. I'd recommend 1 or 2 bots for a good time. Bots can complete maps 1 & 3 on their own, but not sectore_2, mainly due to the pushable (they can push it into the lift!). The maps are playable single player without bots, if you don't mind dieing a lot...

Bots can use the shortcuts, teleports, and lifts, but won't get most of the secret flowers, I left that for the players. I did skip a couple small areas with items to pickup. They can do everything else, such as keycards, but not always fast, so players have a chance to do it first. Bots will loop in some areas with multiple objectives a short time, then move on (first part of sectore_1 comes to mind, and the boss room near end of sectore_3).

Bots can grapple in sc4.8 on maps 2 & 3, but they can be a bit buggy sometimes, other times they do ok. Bots don't grapple on sc4.7, so there are no grapple problems in that version. See the readme for tips on what to do if a bot starts behaving bad with the grapple. I'm not sure if 1 or 2 bots are better for grappling, 1 bot seems to have less problems, but with 2 bots, sometimes one bot will "knock" the other into working again! See this topic about the grapple problems in sc4.8, with the current rcbot version...

@ everyone

I forgot to mention, on sectore_2, as an option, bots will follow you down that first lift, if in a squad (bots may lower the lift before you get a chance to do that). Once the lift is down, bots will start using the long way via the grapple & the vents, as they cannot repel down the lift shaft (at least one player must go down the lift shaft to unlock that area & vent). The only way back up, is via the lift shaft with the grapple, so don't take sc4.7 or older bots down there, they will be trapped.

Thanks, but not sure yet? Got some summer stuff to do rolleyes.gif . I do have some wpts I started a long time ago. I may look at those again and see if they can be made to work with the latest rcbot. One was turretfortress and the other was jumpers (others too). I think jumpers might work ok if the player plays the point man, but turretfortress did not seem to work well single player with bots. But it might be worth a second look, since bots repair turrets now?

With bots, I like walkthrough maps the most. I think sc_reflux would be a good map to wpt, I don't think there is a wpt for it? I probably won't start any new wpts until after summer. But that could change?

Btw, if you see any new problems with the bots grappling during normal game play, please report that in the grapple topic (link in first post). I've seen a bot appear to get stuck in repel mode a few times, but I'm not sure if it happens during normal gameplay? (They should not be pressing secondary fire at all while using the grapple, should be pulling only)
