| Heyyo, I made these waypoints for the fun of it all. Now remember, these levels weren't designed for bot usage in mind. I'm proud to say the bots have the potential to beat the whole campaign without human aid! The only part that takes the bots forever to get done is escorting barney to the pad on "etc0b". I suggest doing this part yourself since bots take a long time.. I waited maybe 30 mins and eventually one wandered there with barney. Just extract it into your "$moddir\rcbot\waypoints\svencoop" folder and pwn. Later-a-much, and LONG LIVE THE D! ? ThE_Mar? |

Oi, omg, I just wanted to download it n' give it a go n' see if it was a cool map to do for rcbot eh? now? sweet jebus, I ended up starting to waypoint it.. Cheesh? Your bot's making me crave waypointing.. lol, watch this, by the end of the year I'll have all major campaigns for SvenCoop waypointed for use with RCBot.
I'm probably half ways done the first level of ETC (map's entitled ETC.bsp.. go figure
) and more is to definately follow.btw, for the topic description part there?

... I recently added that to me mp3 mix for SvenCoop.. and can't forget "Orgy - Blue Monday".. damn that song rocks.. they used it in the latest Mars Chocolate Bar commercial... Also had to add the "Run Lola Run OST".. cause that stuff's like, great for running around ingame.... more good SvenCoop tunes are highly appreciated since I've gotten all the ones off the SC site n' I want more.. always more.
Next I'll probably be doing that project-something campaign.. I already did half of the first map for that one...
Cheesh? you better add support for SvenCoop for HL2 or I'll probably have to rip my brain out n' watch it fly... w00t?
Of course I'll be making a bot for SvenCoop 2, thats what I started rcbot 2 for!! Only one problem, SvenCoop 2 ain't out yet! keep your excitement in

For some reason.. i have the sudden urge to put the Night At The Roxbury OST on svencoop... when a bot dies? "Where Do You Go - Ocean Drive mix (No Mercy)"

Oh, I think I have a solution to the tentacle issue. Once Tentacles reach 1 HP, they hide eh? well, maybe do checks for if the tentacle's health is 1 HP, they ignore it, and if it's higher? to open fire. That could work.. unless as soon as they poke underground that they instantly reset their health... but then bots shouldn't be able to see the tentacle and they'd be ignoring it anywho eh? hmm, wanna give this method a shot Cheesh? should work fine 100% of the time as long as people don't screw around with the tentacles on their maps and change their behaviour..
I know your bots already stop attacking most monsters once their health goes below 0.. so hopefully this gimmick for tentacles won't require some huge overhaul..

Oh, I just got a great idea for beats: convert some UT techno to mp3..
I know you can get (legally & free) some old C&C tracks off the westwood ftp server... OOH! I could add RA1's Hells March to the list! OH PWNAGE!

how about getting bots to learn the best time to shoot a tentacle thingy I guess I could keep some kind of neuron that fires when they want to attack it given it's health and distance away or something. Although it's kinda cheeating readin the tentacles health.
Anyway. For Svencoop I play some Hybrid tracks sometimes when testing in svencoop with the botcam its quite mad (tracks with no lyrics cos the lyrics are pretty crap dance usual stuff) but the beats are nice. 
I need more though!!

Btw Cheesh, it ain't cheating to get bots to read the Tentacle's health. Remember, it always displays the name, health, and frags of any npc's you aim at in SC.
