Rented my 1e Tf2 server,

And want 2 hit it of when there ar no people on with a few bots for some-activity.

Now some Questions i have,

1. I have in my server CFG , cheats 0 = must i keep it this way when installing the bots?

2. My server looks like this Main-Directory contains maps : Orangebox , Hl2 , fastdownloadsync.

Must i upload there the Rcbot2 directory? Or must i open 1 of the Maps- like Orangebox or Hl2 .

In the Orangebox directory i have standing the maps, BIN, HL2, DUMPS, TF2, PLATFORM. Must i copy here the RCBOT directory and then UPLOAD the DLL file 2 the BIN Directory??

Or must i install it in the TF2 directory the RCBOT and then upload the DLL in the BIN directory and add in ADDONS the vdf file ???

Seems an little choas i admit that, but i tryed 2 upload the Bots but i dont seem 2 get it working.

I did read the installing but doesnt worked for me what am i doing wrong can somebody help me out and write down what they think howe 2 upload all.

Thanx in advance. And keep up the works.

1 Euro servers? huh.gif
Anyway, RCbots require sv_cheats 1 to spawn, and if I recall correct, the RCbot2 folder goes in orangebox.
The DLL went in orangebox/bin (again, if I recall correctly)
Remember to switch the waypoints/team fortress 2 folder's name into orangebox, and rcbotd is the ded command for RCbot2. If that didn't help, try this.

if you use the bot manager sourcemod plugin here you do not need cheats to spawn bots

Last time I used it, it crashed the game. I haven't used it since. Should give it a try, though. Having bots that are capable of actually jumping is a nice feature.

huh... cant say it has ever given me any trouble... currently running it with mm:s 1.8.1 and sm 1.3.6 (recent snappy) on a dedicated server 2k3 box with no issues...

Without the bot manager, you have to add them. With the bot manager, it's instant, and the manager fixes the double gravity issue.
